Property: 

Titanium monoxide (TiO) is an inorganic compound composed of titanium and 

oxygen. Containing 52% to 54% oxygen (atomic), with a body centered cubic structure. 

Application: 

Titanium monoxide is a semiconductor material with excellent optical and electrical 

properties. Can be used as a photosensitive material in dye-sensitized solar cells. It 

can also be used to prepare photocatalysts for reactions such as water splitting, 

pollutant degradation, and CO2 reduction. It can also be used to prepare magnetic  

sensors and magnetic storage components.
